My first fandoms, the book series "Animorphs" and the original generation of Pokemon, led me to a love of writing and storytelling that I've never given up. I believe that everyone deserves to be a protagonist, even if we understand that our lives have an ensemble cast.

To that end, I'll stand firm by the idea that D&D and similar games are an essential experience for everyone, kids and adults alike, to express themselves and develop creatively. There's merit, too, in the kinds of personal and interpersonal growth that a person can experience with collaborative gaming.
